Video Security

Why SONY?

The world is facing the largest video monitoring challenge of all time and Sony has delivered a clear solution. The Sony IP video monitoring solution has all the robust functionality expected from an industry leader combined with technological innovations that save both time and money.

Leveraging your business unit's high-speed IP network infrastructure you can easily add an IP video monitoring system to your network to provide you with video capability. The only action required is to set up the IP addresses of the network cameras and the system is ready for configuration. Traditional analog video systems require dedicated point-to-point cabling which makes installation expansion and maintenance both cumbersome and costly. With IP video monitoring, once the basic system is configured and running, the only fine-tuning needed is to decide which functions to utilize, including:

Motion detection – Real-time alerts to significant events such as unauthorized entry

Alarm handling – Interface with access control and alarm systems; email notification upon alarm trigger

Time stamping – Makes searches quick and easy

Local programmability – Each camera (or group of cameras) can be programmed for a specific requirement

Digital sensor inputs – Triggers the transmission of images upon alarm tripping

Digital relay outputs – Can be used to remotely or automatically open or close doors, turn lights on or off, or a number of
other possibilities

Camera controls – Pan, tilt and zoom to better secure a large location an existing analog CCTV system into an IP-based solution with the use of Sony video servers.an existing analog CCTV system into an IP-based solution with the use of Sony video servers.
